Future Oceans International is a movement that connects two unlikely worlds: fashion and ocean conservation. Our mission is to take on one of the biggest challenges of our time - ocean plastics - and use it as a catalyst for change. We bring together fashion designers, entrepreneurs, and yachters, some of the biggest users of our oceans, to create a community that is passionate about solving this global problem.
We challenge fashion designers from all over the world to visit the piles of ocean plastics collected by organizations like the Ocean Legacy Foundation, and use them as the source material for their art. Our goal is to create wearable art pieces that showcase both an awareness of the problem and humanity's incredible ability to innovate and solve it. Our judging process is rigorous, selecting only the most talented, innovative, and passionate designers who embody the ethos of Future Oceans.
Our runway show is a unique event that brings together people from all walks of life to experience the beauty and creativity of our designs. We use this event to raise awareness and funds for our cause, providing attendees and sponsors with a chance to contribute to the future of our oceans.
